SMS Communications and Consent Process

When our customers purchase digital gift cards to be delivered via SMS, we follow a two-step consent process to ensure recipients have explicitly agreed to receive messages:

• Initial Contact: When a gift card is purchased, we send an initial message to the recipient that identifies the sender and requests consent (e.g., "Hey [Recipient Name], [Sender Name] would like to send you a digital gift card. Please respond GIFTCARD if you'd like to receive the gift card via text message.").
• Consent Confirmation: We only deliver the actual gift card after receiving an affirmative response from the recipient.
• Opt-Out Information: All messages include clear instructions on how recipients can opt out of future messages.
• Record Keeping: We maintain records of all consent interactions to ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations.

Information Sharing

We may share certain information with third-party tools, such as AI models, for the purpose of analyzing dates and names from the content of your emails. This is done to enhance the functionality of the Add-on and provide you with more accurate and relevant information. Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for their promotional purposes. The types of data shared with AI models and the purpose of such sharing are clearly outlined in this privacy policy.

Data Retention

We retain the information collected until a user requests that we delete it. This includes SMS consent records, which we maintain for compliance purposes.

Your Choices:

• You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but this may limit the functionality of the Add-on.
